Seth Gottesdiener has been a resident of Los Angeles for over a decade and has been paving his way in the world of fitness and activism ever since.
After moving to New York at 17, Gottesdiener attended the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences for massage therapy. Upon earning his degree and licensure, he moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue personal training at Studio X Fitness. Certified in ACE (and later NASM), he realized West Hollywood was where he needed to be to cultivate his craft. In Los Angeles, he immersed himself in boutique fitness and actualized his dream by becoming a highly sought-after instructor and trainer in the LA fitness community.
Gottesdiener has achieved certifications in business operations and weight & lifestyle management. Having instructed at Barry’s Bootcamp, Flywheel Sports, Corepower Yoga, and Lagree Pilates, Gottesdiener has utilized each of these modalities to become one of the most well-rounded and well-versed trainers in the country.
In 2018, Gottesdiener opened Indigo Fitness in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Indigo is a boutique fitness studio offering private training and group classes. Indigo’s ethos is derived in meritocratic work ethic; nothing is a given and results are earned, rewarding anyone looking to further themselves.
After opening his business a year and a half before the pandemic, Indigo temporarily closed their doors and Gottesdiener began organizing countless demonstrations during the summer of 2020. It was that impetus in which he decided to become a public servant to his constituents and volunteer time in local politics.
In 2021 Seth was elected into the Neighborhood Council System, the most grassroots form of Government in the county of Los Angeles. He now serves as the Co-Chair of the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council.
Gottesdiener also has demonstrated his advocacy in athletic feats, as well. In 2020 he biked across America, leading up to the Presidential Election in Washington D.C. Along the way Seth interviewed 40 people in pursuit of figuring out why our country is so divided. Currently the project, The Great American Bike Ride, is in post production.
Gottesdiener also ationally DJ’s under the nom-de-guerre DJ TSG.
